Ryan Jones has joined us as Senior Partner for North America, while Chris Sherwin has joined as Operations Manager. Both bring years of HSE experience in high-risk industries and know the challenges our clients face first-hand.

Their appointments come as we continue to grow our work across North America and internationally, while building the operational capability needed to support more clients and projects.

Ryan Jones: strengthening COMET's presence in NorthAmerica

Ryan joins as Senior Partner - North America, where he will lead commercial growth and client relationships across the region. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in global energy and manufacturing,most recently as Director of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) for Apache Corporation, where he led HSE strategy across the United States, Egypt, and the North Sea. Throughout his career, Ryan has built a reputation for developing world-class safety cultures and managing complex operational risk across international organisations, work that has made him a Certified Safety Professional and a trusted advisor to executive teams and frontline leaders alike.

Chris Sherwin: driving operational delivery worldwide

Chris takes on the role of Operations Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement across COMET's operational delivery. He brings more than 25 years of experience in health, safety, operational excellence, and risk management across complex, high-risk industrial environments, including senior Health & Safety advisor roles supporting major hazard operations. His background spans incident investigation, root cause analysis, and assurance, always with a focus on turning lessons learned into practical changes that make work safer.
